1. Acceptance of terms

By using this website or making a purchase, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Products and sales

• All items sold by Madcapdeals are liquidation or surplus items, often at discounted prices.
• All sales are final, unless the item is proven defective within 2 days of purchase. See our return policy for more details.
• We do our best to describe and display products accurately, but actual products may differ slightly due to their liquidation nature.

3. Pricing and availability

• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, especially in cases of pricing errors or stock issues.

4. Pickup hold deposit

Choosing store pickup at checkout lets you pay a small deposit online and settle the balance at the counter. The deposit is 10% of the goods or CA$10.00, whichever is higher, plus 13% HST (for example CA$11.30 on a CA$200.00 order).

• The deposit is non-refundable and is credited toward your purchase when you collect.
• A hold placed while we are open lasts until closing time that same day; an order placed after closing is held until the next business day's close.
• The deposit is non-refundable. If the item isn't collected and paid for before the store closes on the hold day, the order is cancelled automatically and the deposit is kept.
• The remaining balance is due at pickup. Card and e-transfer payments carry 13% HST; any cash portion is settled at the counter.

5. Shipping and pickup

• Free Mississauga pickup at unit 17, 3663 Mavis Rd, Mississauga, ON L5C 3G1. Store hours: Mon–Sat 10am–7pm, Sun 11am–5pm.
• Fully paid pickup orders are held for up to 30 days. Hold-deposit orders must be collected by the deadline shown on your order.
• Repeatedly not collecting paid orders counts as a missed pickup. After 3 missed pickups online ordering is suspended until you speak with the store.
• Canada-wide shipping: enter your postal code at checkout to see live carrier rates before you pay. Large or heavy items may be pickup-only; the product page says so.
• Shipped orders are packed after the inspection checklist below is complete, and you receive tracking by email.

6. Inspection checklist before hand-over

Every item is opened and tested on our inspection bench when it arrives, and checked again before it leaves. For each order line we record:

• the item matches the listing and there is no damage beyond what we described;
• powered items switch on and run; batteries hold charge; charger or cable is in the box;
• furniture and kits have all fixings present;
• photos of the actual item you are receiving.

The checklist and photos are attached to your order page. For pickup orders you review and approve it at the counter before the goods are handed over; for shipped orders it is sent with your tracking. Approving the checklist confirms the item left in the condition shown.

7. Store credit, price match and other programmes

• Store credit may be offered at the store’s discretion when a refund or exchange is not applicable. It is a code you enter at checkout, cannot be exchanged for cash, expires 14 days after issue and is applied before HST.
• Price match: found the same item cheaper from a Canadian retailer? Use "Price match" on the product page with a link; we reply before you buy.
• Notify me lets you leave your email on a sold item; we message you when the same product lands in a new load.
• Report a listing on any product page if a photo, grade or description looks wrong. We correct or pull the listing.
• Affiliate programme: share your link and earn a commission on first orders from new customers. Details and payouts on the partner page; apply on careers.
• Can't find something? Send a request and we watch incoming loads for it.

8. Limitation of liability

Madcapdeals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services. All items are sold as-is.

9. User conduct

You agree to use the website for lawful purposes only and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the site.

11. Modifications to terms

We may update these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your agreement to the new terms.
